Connecting DVD recorder & sky

Ive just got a dvd recorder so i can clear some space off the sky box,

i have the scart running from the tv to the av1 on the dvd,
then sky out into the av2 on the dvdr.

I had this working all fine until I went to tidy the wires up.

No I only have sound coming from the sky box onto the DVD,

what have i done and how to fix this?

Sounds like a loose / busted cable. Scarts are shite and can easily break.

I didn't think anything used scarts anymore!
