Connecting resitors?

Hi,i finally received my resistors for my airbag and pretensioner and want to connect them but how do I connect them because the resistor have a postive and negative?Which wire goes to which side of the resistor for the airbags and the pretensioner?

What colour is the resistors and what colour is the strips on the resistor?Isn't it going to blow if you put it in wrong way rond?

Colour?? They have bands round them so you can tell if there the right resistance.

I know about the stripes but what colour is the resistor not the stripes?What do they mean by a carbon resistor?

There is a proper way to install them on PCB's but as far as im aware dosnt matter how there installed on the airbag bit

what it uses as a resistance is what defines the body colour. e.g metal film/carbon/wirewound
