Connectors under seat?

  197
Hey

Im trying to get this airbag and serv light to go off and i was told the try to disconnect the black connector block thing under there but i cant seem to find the catch to get the fecker off.
Also ive read about on here and heard of the "Hardwiring" option. Ive looked under again and i can see Blue brown and black wires on the back of the connector and then black, brown and beige on the front. I cant access the official thread so just postin a quick question in here.

Cheers in advance

Chris,

I've cured it on my 172 by following someone's advice to use electrical cable ties. Fit them to each connector lengthways to make everything more rigid. You will need long and thin type cable ties. I bought mine from B&Q.

I just wiggled my connectors and the problem went away.
Cut and solder is probably the best solution, or try a connector block they're pennies and you can easily disconnect them again if needed.
