Continental tyres

Today i took the yokohama tyres of my 172 as i suspected the were the cause of my handling problems. The car would follow white lines and overbanding on the road to the point of dangerous. I had been over the front suspension a hundred times and really had no confidence in the car when pushing it.

Today I put a pair of Continental sport contact 3's on and it has transformed the car i can't belive the difference its made..

Has anyone else come across this?

I had the exact same thing on my A3.

It came with budgets and would follow white lines and be unstable at 70 in the wet. Put a new set of conti 3's and the car was completely different. Handles well in the wet and dry and they have a decent wear rate!

I just bought a new set for the clio but haven't had them fitted yet.
