Convertible roof cleaner + sealant.

A lady friend wants her convertible roof cleaned, sealed and basically looking like new. Could someone recommend a few items ranging from budget (but still good if that exists), to premium stuff. Also bearing in mind i have never cleaned or sealed a convertible roof, something easy to use would be good :approve:.

What sort of roof is it?

My mx5 has a vinyl one and I have just bought some aerospace 303 to coat it in.

Erm, its a 11 plate audi A1, fabric roof i think :/

i did a Z3 roof i think they are similar and i used some All Purpose Cleaner (like AF Verso) with a medium stiff brush to get dirt out then sealed with Gtechniq I1 smart fabric
beads better than the wax that went on lol

Used Renovo products before with good results, cleaned, re coloured (if it needs it) and sealed with their proofer. Took most of a day to allow drying between stages but came up like new and beaded really well when it rained

I too am interested. NO idea what my MX5 roof is made from though. Looks like faux leather?

The fellow Hazel Grover strikes again - spot on that man. This is the only answer you need, guys. APC, medium brush to agitate, rinse, let it completely dry and then soak in i1.
