coolant hoses to Heater matrix problem:(

hi,
i bought coolant hoses off a trader 6 months ago but just fitted them today.
I seem to have a problem where their going into the heater heater.

The hose's i got off the trader was missing the end metal clip which connects to the Heater matrix outlet&inlet
For the moment I have connected them straight to the Matrix without the clip but its only temporarily as their a tad short without the clip.
Just wondering can the hoses be connected to the old clip or not as Iv tried and can't seem to do so.

We came across this same problem, I don't think they come with any kit, I probably went the wrong way about this but I cut the connectors off the old pipes put them on the new kit with jubilee clips

Using jubilee clips for aftermarket hoses is the the only way round this problem.
