coolant leak in passenger footwell

As above I've just started to get a small build up of coolant there.

My cars stripped out and can see its coming from the side of the heater matrix.

I've had a quick nosey under the bonnet and topped coolant up until I get chance to have a better look on Saturday.

Any known faults or suggestions before I get round to investigating further?

Heaters work fine on hot and cold.

depends how much its leaking, u could try a radiator stop leak product if its only a slight leak, if its dripping then u need to strip the heater unit and see what needs sorting out... most radiators are only designed to last around 8 to 10 years...
