Coolant

Had an air leak in my cooling system a while ago and topped up with water. Think i want to flush the cooling system so need to fill it back up with coolant/water solution. The renault stuff was very very expensive. Can you buy it concentrated as it was sold per litre pre-diluted. Or is there another kind anyone can recommend?

Halfords probably sell un-diluted antifreeze, then just go 50/50 with water.

yup, as above you can buy it concentrated from the likes of halfords or a motor factor.

Its £15 for 5litres in Halfords, it is cheaper in a motor factors..

Most are blue josh. Just go to a motor factors and buy undiluted coolant/anti freeze and mix as per instructions with water.
You need to pull the hose out of the rad to drain the old off and then refill with the bleed valve open IIRC.

You may also need to turn your heater control to hot so the coolant can drain then circulate around the matrix when re-filling preventing airlocks.

Yeah take the bootom hose off and put a hose pipe through one of the pipes that go into the coolent tank, run till its clear, refit hose, undo bleed screw on rad, blast the hose through again till it runs clear and then fill 50/50 with the bleed screw open.
