My dad has had a fair few horrific cars, mainly coz he has to have motability cars. Two micras, two almeras, now has a megane. Due a new car in July. Might put a thread up with his choices...of course all will be poverty spec, but still...
Mum has had a few fiestas, a saxo and now has the new shape micra.
Back in the day, before Dad was confined to a wheelchair he had a couple of minis that he ragged the f**k out of, now moans if I go above 30!

  Monaco
My dad's current car's probably the one I have most respect for, 2008 BMW 325d, literally every option going (inc. all M-packs), he's put a black grill on it and some of BMW's exotic "performance" range 19" wheels on it. Oh and its remapped to 250bhp. It's understated whilst feeling solid and luxurious.

My dad has had no cool cars that I know of :(

I intend to fully make up for that short fall with my son though lol

  Clio RS 182
Coolest car my old man had was one of these, the amount of people who asked where he got the bodykit from was amazing as they didn't know it was built like it, quite rare now

Brand new Mazda 323, when you're 3 years old and your car has pop up lights you know you've made the big time

Range Rover Classic with straight through SS exhaust and tubular manifolds. Om nom nom noise!

  Looking for 182
My Dad had a Panther, similar to this, although I'm unsure of the exact model so it may not have been like this, but looked similar.

He wrote it off though.

He also had various BMWs and other stuff, no idea what though I can't remember.

I would ask him but he's dead. So I don't think I'd get much info out of him.

  Disastra Coupe
My dad built this mk1 Escort. Fitted a Slant4 Lotus engine which he had to cut all the bulkhead back etc. Custom fabricate his own manifold, the lot.

Excuse the zero fashion sense from my mother lol. Few year back now, i'd have been about 10(ish) at the time so we're talking 13/14 year ago.

Amongst other old Ford's :)

I can't believe how good them DS3's can look -I keep spotting them about and usually always look brilliant.

And they're Citroens. The world has gone mad.

Oof, not too clever. Pa only had a motorbike license when I was born so I spent my first year or so in a Reliant.

He did have a lovely graphite grey 2.0l Capri though. One of the first metallic paint jobs I ever saw. He swapped it for a white 3.0l Capri which was a complete shed but had allsorts done to it and so was damned quick for the time.

He then switched to big cars. He loved his 3.0l Safrane which was pretty rare. Tellingly however when he came to sell it he got £550 for it. Not bad for a 10 year old £25k car! Now drives a Omega. Which is a heap.

I'm not even gonna mention my mothers cars.

My old man use to have a lotus carlton but my mum made him sell it when i was born to due to being expensive to run and they needed the money. Wish he would of kept it.

  Mk1 Focus RS
my dad had all the fords as i was growing up, capri's, escort rs turbos, escort rs2000, escort cosworth and now a mk1 FRS.

the escort cosoworth was always the coolest in my opinion, got looks everywhere you went.

as for my mum, she drove my dads car more than him, got sick of people saying 'wow your mum has cool cars' ha!

Old man used to have a Zafira GSI for a company car ! Effortless power, nice(ish) interior. Was funny flying past people with 7 of us in the car :D

  172 cup
Highlight of my dads car was a bmw 2002 ex race car put back onto the road. Can remember being in it when I was about 8 and he was late for something or other, watching the needle go off the clock was beyond cool at that age! (Also nothing like setting a good example!)

Other than that he had a mint condition 90 spec mercury grey rs turbo which was jut immaculate. Also worth a mention are a 205 gti 1.9,a mk2 fiesta xr2 and a mk2 ecort rs2000.The rest have all been s**t.

Cheers Ross.
