cooper s works r53 - 182?

Yes..i've owned both..182 is a good car but the works is a fair step up in quality and performance..

Yes. The interiors miles better, and it's much quicker. 182's got the better chassis.

on going argument! standard cars are equal, i had the cooper S, a works will have the edge on a 182

ah ok, i saw a nice cooper jcw for sale with coilies etc, upgraded brakes, pushing out about 270bhp..bet that would shift!!

what about a corsa vxr?

corsa vxr's are awesome little cars, i'd say they slightly have the edge but that could be due to my mate being a bit mad in his

The only thing better about the 182 is it's lightness and the slightly more aggressive chassis. The Mini is only a slight setup tweak away from that though. They are far more tuneable.

Just a geometry change, a bit more camber basically. A common upgrade is adjustable rear control arms that allows a lot of adjustability. The rear suspension setup on the Mini is more advanced than the Clios.
