Done a search but not got the answer...

Has anyone fitted Corbeau club sports to their Clio 1*2 without a subframe?

I've been in touch with Corbeau and I've put my name down on the list for the next batch to be made (apparently there pretty popular) anyway... They said because there side mounted seats there's no need for a subframe and an easy bolt in seat with runners but every post I've seen on here people are fitting there Club sports with OMP sub frames just wondering why? Are the side mounts which come with the seats not compatible with the existing seat hole/fixing points?

You need a subframe to fit them in your 172 etc.

I've supplied many sets of my VBD Clio X-Low subframes to members on here.

Ok thanks pal. These seats aren't going to get delivered until June as I'm on the waiting list for the next batch to be made.

The VBD subframes, are the a straight forward fit? Any modifications/drilling required? How much and are they readily available or is there a waiting list?

Straight forward fit.

You remove the plastic vent from under passenger carpet as it sits too high.

Yep, the handbrake side is much higher.

Best getting the low subframes above as I have the omp ones and one side on both sits about 2cm lower than the other. Can be sorted with spacers or washers but not ideal.

Hi,two subframes are £130 collected from Merseyside or £146 delivered

Any fees to be covered
