Correct coilover and wheel setup

  RS4 480hp,STI 420hp,ELISE
How low for front and rear to have a very good setup?
Did anyone changed camber or anything else?
I want to set up my H&R coilovers and wheelsettings on my 182, but don't know what to do.

Thank you

its hard to say exactly, but i have them pretty low so the sill of the car is exactly horizontal to the floor, camber anywhere from -0.5 to -3.5 depending upon requirements and always with slight toe in

just remember more camber less braking ability though as the wheels have less contact on the ground.

yes the guys at kwik fit looked at me funny when i asked for it to be done like that, its good fun though but you have to be awake.

do you base your figures on factory handouts, or your own real test data from the track?

track testing, we have specific settings for most of the uk tracks for our more serious customers, but even then it can boil down to personnal preference

On H&R's I can recommend you:
Back end wound down completely, shortening the bump stop for 15mm at least
Front end 20-30mm higher than the rear measured from the bottom of the rim to the wheel arch
Minimum camber and about 12" toe out for the road
-1.5 camber and 0-10mm toe out for occasional track days
You can have you car setup much more agressively, but you loose on driveability
