Correct torque settings for standard con rod bolts

  Renault Sport 172CUP
I've been told by a Renault Specialist that 60nm is correct (and they have now been tightened to that) however have seen people saying its 20nm and also checked with a (non specialist) garage and auto data is saying 20nm, i know auto data should been taken with a pinch of salt! Just wondering if anyone can confirm i haven't stretched my bolts

Cheers guys

I only ever use ARP bolts on these engines TBH so dont know off hand, but I would imagine that 20NM setting is then plus an angle as well, as that seems very low to me.

Well thats about the same that you torque an ARP bolt up to is all I can personally tell you, so it doesnt sound horrific, but the trouble is that the standard bolts arent great to begin with, let alone if you have tried to torque set them instead of angle set them if that is what renault specify.
Hopefully one of the mechanics on here who gets involved in the more mundane builds using standard bolts can be of more use to you.
