Corrosion warranty?

Right i know that when you buy a car they usualy come with a 12 year corrosion warranty, right?

What does this exactly cover>? After washing the car today i noticed that under the bonnet there is the very slightest of bubbles in the paint work, now if this was left to its own devices that will almost definatley rust.

What exactly qualifies under the corrosion warranty? This is effectivley pre-rust, do i have a problem on my hands?

As long as the car has never had any previous bodywork, and has full Renault service history, it will be covered.

I had a new bonnet and a new tailgate under the same warranty on my old phase 1 172.

They are very strict on the History and paintwork mind you!!

I think Renault is eight years.

The car should be checked and the service book stamped every year officialy for the warently to be in place its 12 years though.

As said they can be strict but when you see what other companies are like its not an unusual stance.
