The other side of the slip is my bro when his gear f**ked and he pootled the rest of the way, dont know what you are on about, how many cars without a problem cross the line in at 54.82 miles and hour, you need to go and watch. anyway Cup is now faster than my Mk1, Santa Pod I ran 14.7 after 3 runs so I guess that is a good, back up, Jees.... loads of people cant take fast times mate i get it all the time, just ignore him. those there in the know see what we were up against and slaying and thats what counts, i went to pod and the mph on some of my timing slips is fukkin stupid so i guess that means pod is dodgy too. we witnesses ur cups pace mate. fukkin kwik. as long as you know that fuk what anyone else thinks, until theve taken you out its all banter

LOL well those times should be about standard cossie 1/4 miles depending on condition/age whether the things running ok. There are more dogs of cossies than decent ones these days.

i think a good 1/4 time has alot to do with wot kind of start you get and wether you can actually drive!

was it 4wd escort cossie as they are slower in a straight line?

or maybe it was just a sh*tter?

the cossie should nearly have atw wot a 172 has at the flywheel in terms of bhp and cant be that much heavier so should have to much trouble beating a 172.but there aint much room for error on the dragstrip

I can quite believe a cup can be faster than a cossie. I am planning a Cossie and I would defo go stage 1 before I drive anywhere as the hot hatch market has moved on so much - in the early 90s sub 8 secs was lightning for a hot hatch - now were sub 7 secs.

No mate need wheel speed sensors putting on, with the Ao48s I could just clutch dump at 3k and it gripped and went, (when they were warm that is)

why? cossies are crap top end standard, a standard one there last time was getting 15.1, williams fodder after 60mph (my williams and a few others anyway, cup, 172 etc)

kin ell how can the timing be wrong, car breaks beam at start clock starts, car breaks beam at end clock stops how can that get fuked up

only thing that could be bit out is mph as im not sure how they work that out
