if it's to a UK number it will be normal price. I've paid 50p a text to a canadian number in the past

It won't cost anything extra. He will pay the extra. If roaming.

Edit: If it's an Indian number, no idea, check their website.

If you have free texts etc will use them up and typically uses 4 free messages for 1 overseas message.
