Could be finally happening

well ive been searching for a clio dynamique for 7 weeks now at auction,, and one suitable has come up
52 reg Silver DCI 65

id of liked a higher bhp output, but im so happy to be this close to getting one i do not mind, plus its gonna mean cheap motoring :)

has anyone else got a DCI 65,, if so what do u think of them, and can u tune this up? say fit a new intercooler or something

Also are the turbo?

Cheers if you can help

i drove a dci65 courtesy car and they had a good bit of go when the turbo span...........im sure you could get it remapped!

well im praying i actually get it
i have put #5k max limit as i cant afford that really lol

but i am desperate for one,,,,
im sure i have read u can fit a new intercooler to reach 80 bhp

A remap will get you 82 or so hp.

You can fit an intercooler and do custom remapping and get~105hp but that the limit of the injectors any more (over 100 is dangerous IMO on stock injectors).

Be careful with dcis getting over 50k they can soometimes need new injectors and turbos and there not cheap (£200 per injectors and theres 4 and £650 turbos).

They are turbo yep 0.9~1 bar boost but no intercooler, the 80 has the intercooler and bigger injectors.

Ive got a 65 and its a good car not massively powerful but much better than the 1.2 in my experiance as in the real world its easier to drive and quicker.

Tune ups depend what you wnat to spend. Best stary with just a remap for ~£500 though. You could do mad spend £10k and get near 250hp with the right build up though.

right
so basically its not a bad car then really

i am not planning on modding the engine or exterior, but i know i wanted a 1.8vvcc in my Rover 100
so itll only be a matter of time b4 i need more power :)
