dose any one know if you can get a like work shop manual for the sport 172 , so i can get the door panels off and dashe and be able to run speaker wires in to the door and put a amp power cable in from the batary, or if any one has done it could they tell me the best way to do it please , cus i never done a clio up before a fiesta yer twice , but the on eis new to me , can any one help me out thatnks , :S

It's the same / similar for all these cars mate.

If you need a manual a normal Clio manual will show you these things, there isn't one for a 172.

Forgot about this part... LOL

Under the passenger side footwell there is a gomet that the bonnet release cable runs through, pop it out push a metal coat hanger through, before you push the coat hanger through you need to remove the coolant bottle in the engine bay (2 bolts) and you can stick ur hand down under the heat sheild stuff and pull it through, job done

P.s u really need two people and you dont need to remove anything else....

HOLY SH!T!! this is the reason why i paid £45 to my local ice dealer to wire up my amp! The engine would've fallen out if i'd have tried all that s**t!

how hard is itto getspeak wiresfrom a amp in the boot into the front door or has no one done it yet ??? any one know the best way to get it there or a way forit to work looking at fitting 120w vibs and got crss over as well to put some where can any one help me out

LOL... £45 is actually really cheap mate :rasp: u got a pretty good deal took me 2 days to figure it out... lol

Right a quick one pull the standard spears out check the colour of the cables then pull the headunit out and unplug the speaker plug (the one with all the speaker cables in) cut the speak cable (same colour and there u go connect a wire to the one behind the head unit run it to ya amp and and plug the standard speaker cable into ya new speak GENIUS.... lol

The only thing with that is u will have to unplug the tweeter and run seaperate cables for that.....

so basic take dash out mount new tweetes in the dash and monut the crossovers in the dash , and take the amp to them and then the speaker wires from the head unit to the cross over out put , and jsut conect the new 120w speak er in the door , the only thing is will the cablebe able to hold the wattage that the amps gives as it going from 45wat to 120wat at a gess

The standard cable will be able to handle 120watt fine but DONT take ur dash out there must be a way to do it without doing that :nono: if you take it out you will never get it back in correctly...

The standard cable will be fine with 120 Watt but dont take your dash out :nono:
