hi everyone
got a early 172 and ive noticed that the edge of the plastic alternator pully has broken off and could of easly cut the aux belt.:dapprove:

that was cleaver y didnt they make them out of metal.
not only that they dont sell the pully seperate at renault and u have to buy a hole new unit.
dont u just love could old renault

not only renault. i beleive iirc that vauxhalls had a plastic pulley on the cam belt which was prone to failure! thats stupid!

Just another way to put cheaper parts on and make more money when it goes wrong..

give LSUK a ring, I'm sure you can get the pulleys seperate.

just seems silly that they show the part on the computer at the main dealer but no part number.
