Couple of clio valver problems....

Fans only work on fastest setting, and will only blow out luke warm air.

Revs sometimes sit at 2000rpm and car needs to be switched off for 20 seconds or so to reset it.

N/S/R is nocking. Could this be a shocker? How can I tell??

Fans sound like the resistor pack, Very common problem on mk1's iirc.

ICV needs a good clean by the sounds of it.

1. Heater matrix sound like its packed up. Quite an arse to refit as its behind the dash.

2. ISCV needs cleaning, remove it and soak it in carb cleaner, also work the valve inside around with an ear/cotton bud. Spray it with WD40 and refit.

3. Sound like your top suspension bearing needs replacing, but also check your antiroll bar bushes, wishbone bushes.

1. probably the heater resistor
2. your heater matrix is blocked, very common
3. take the dash off and add an extra earth to the speedo cable
4. might be the bush on the shocker, watch if it moves as you jack the car up
