Still learning my way around the D7100 and playing around with various settings. The below images were taken with the 16-85 & 70-300.
Although I think the images could be a tad sharper, the 100% crops do show how much detail the camera picks up, and the head shots were taken when I still had the camera set for action shots so could have probably got better if I had changed them.
It's going to be very rare that I print these pics pics any bigger than 8x10 apart from special requests so very happy with the results so far. I know you should anyalyse and pixel peep at 100% viewing (especially at 24mp), but its nice too see so much detail preserved.
These images are jpegs straight from the camera, no processing. I'm pretty sure results can be improved further with RAW files or tweaking the in camera picture details a little
Lenses are what people describe as 'consumer' grade so with pro glass, things can only get better. I'm yet to take the 50mm f1.8g for a spin.
