He lasted til the end of the session, I complained he was banned from the rest of the day, should have been black flagged way before though. Ive gathered some quotes throughout the forums as ive considered complaining to the circuit about the standard of marshalling...
'Twas me in the black Gti with the t**t in the Senator getting in my way before he took out that Clio'
'Yeah he was driving like a c**k. Seen him down there at most of the trackdays this year, but that was the first time I've been on the track with him.
I kept going up the inside of him when he was drifting round the hairpin but he kept cutting my nose off into paddock bend. I was running shitty fuel saver tyres so didn't have much grip and wasn't going to brake too hard on entry to paddock.
It was the first time I've taken my wife out with me and she was well scared of that t**t!'

'The state of Marshalling was an absolute disgrace'
'It never would have happened at Brands!'

That the culprit? Was driving like a t**t.'

'I turned up, and the first session I saw and that goon was out. Both me and Rach said he was driving out of control. He had spun out twice in one session prior to hitting you.'
'The bloke was a f**king pleb Butler, I knew he was going to be involved in something it's just a shame it had to be you'
'There is a thread on Northloop with everyone complaining about the standard of driving and the fact that the briefing was an A4 sheet of paper and no formal briefing given.'
'The organisation was a disgrace.'
(Ojc - corsasport.co.uk)
'I can also vouch for how much of a c**k he was being. If he wanted to drift he should to DWYB at Santa Pod and not a track session. Certainly have some respect around other cars worth 10x more if you can't help yourself. Penis.'
(Graham88 - corsasport.co.uk)
'From talking to various people the briefing is a joke.'
(Fad - corsasport.co.uk)
'One of mates went yesterday and he saw what happened to you he was in a white mk 2 escort running an xe said that his mate nearly went up to the guy and thumped him for being such a dick.'
(Cole - corsasport.co.uk)
'Also agree with the chavfest coment. Would have been too scared to go on the track, looked like there were no rules or even obeying the flags.'
(Ryan1286 - cliosport.co.uk)
'Some real idiotic driving on track!'
'That senator was driving like an idiot all day, blocking overtakes and cutting people up mid overtake, drifting when people were alongside too!'
(MistaT - cliosport.net)
'It was scary how aggressive and lacking in track day manners some of the other drivers were.. in particular a silver BMW 740 (with child in passenger seat) and 200sx drifting very close to other cars'
'I definitely won't be going back as it was full of chavs and queuing up to get onto the track was a joke! Oh and the track was covered in rubber from the drifters so not a great surface.'
'Butler - I watched you earlier on in the day and it looked like you were going well. Bad luck with the Senator incident but as said at least it was only a door damaged. Still very annoying. On any normal track day drifters would be black flagged!'
(wildwood - cliosport.net)
'Organisation was crap. My mate was out on track in a silver 106 GTI (went off with fuel line failure) about half 3. They let on 4 cars right in front of him and ended up with 41 cars on the track when there's only supposed to be 20. And they didn't even let people know what the flags meant. The stands were too close to eachother too. And don't get me started on the queues for food!'
(cafcross- cliosport.net)
'The show was awful, the tracktime looked thoroughly hectic and it was over an hours queueing to get in for most people!!! Definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone!'
'Tracktime had no briefing or rules, you just signed and got a wristband. People were driving like idiots in pretty much every session, flagging was random and sporaddic, several people should have been black flagged but were allowed to continue!
It was so disorganised that a few of my mates got extra free track sessions by simply queuing up and driving onto the track session!!!'
'The show has huge potential to be a great quality show with a good reputation, good cars and stands etc but unfortunately the organisers obviously aren't really that bothered about quality and just wanted to sell as many tickets as possible and cram as many people as possible into the venue, albeit at a slow rate.'
(Hammerzeit - northloop.co.uk)
'That guy in the smoking Nova was really winding me up - where were the marshalls?'
