Courtesy Light Swap

  GW 200
Hi all,

new here today so how do? :approve:

I have just got a Clio 182 and the sad sap that had it before me has replaced the roof courtesy light with a REALLY bright blue one (to match the car colour). So now when I get in and out of the car at night I glow up like something out of Cocoon and illuminate everything in a 30 meter radius a lovely shade of sky blue. Also, based on the aftermath of his small modification one can only assume he chose not to use a small flat headed screw driver and a little pressure to pop off the cover but a crow bar and a blindfold.

I would like to replace it with something resembling the standard white light. I would just like to know if anyone knows what type of bulb it is and roughly how much they are (as I'm away from home and my car at the minute but there's a small shop down the road from where I am which sells car interior and exterior bulbs).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers :D

Yep, same as sidelight bulbs. 501 or W5W. I have two 4 L.E.D. bulbs in mine and it's pretty bright!

roof ones are normal sidelight bulbs (havin just replaced mine with LED's)

boot light and glove box are 39mm long normal interior bulbs (or go for xenon white led festoons IMO)
