Cracked Windscreen Info....

Had a really bad cracked rear disc the other month and now after a f***ing great rock got launched at my car by a lorry I now have a really bad cracked windscreen to sort out!

Luckily have this covered by insurance so will just be paying the £75 excess so just wondering if anyone has any advice on the subject?? Will Autoglass be ok to fit it a new one due to the auto sensors and when I ring them am I best to mention the auto wipers/lights?? Also isn't the windscreen tinted or something because of the air con??

Also just out of interest when I was checking the screen out I couldn't notice any renault markings on it anywhere whilst all my other windows do so just wondering if the screen has been replaced before at some point?? All I have is the marking pictured if that helps??

when ringing auto glass tell them the exact specification of your can ie auto wipers or alike! its just an idiot on a phone who relays a message! and also let them know that its a " higher grade " ( as autoglass referred to it as to me ) windscreen it will most likely have a small golden looking rectangle and the bottom of the windscreen in the middle which will inidcate this! hope this helps a bit :approve:
