Ford Fiesta
In very cold weather, say below -3 when the car is cold, when I put the ignition on there is a strange sound coming from around the ash tray area.
It's not the fuel pumps that you can hear at anytime. It like an electricity/crackling sound that lasts a couple of seconds then goes off. Even if you dont start car up and turn ignition off and on a few times it stops after second time. Once car is warm it doesnt do it.
Any ideas what it may be?
