It's the Performance Ford magazine day on 12/04/15 but is anyone going along to this?

I love XR's and RS's but think some French RS's should be there to upstage the blue ovals.

Some decent Ford's there yesterday. Highlights were the MK1 and MK2 Escorts, a Pontiac GTO, a new M4 and some all rounds mental motors. Who'd have thought to have a MK2 Fiesta with a Scooby engine and running gear?!?!

Anyway, I managed a 15.5 second quarter mile which gives me something to aim for and improve next time I'm there.

I've a few photos which I'll upload to photobucket and get added to the site later.

Is 15.5 a good time for a clio up the strip? You manage to compare with other clios?

Would be tempted to do the crail track day, have heard a few horror story's about it but just as a once off.

I was the only Clio. The only Frenchies I remember seeing was a Twingo GT, a 106 Gti and a Xsara Picasso!

The one with the Go-Pro was my mate. Mine was the one with tape on the number plate.

They were pretty rapid

Crail track days are awesome , only problem is lots of loose chippings and your good car gets all stone chips
