Just went into a wall... at lowish speed - back end just came out and i couldnt do anything.

No idea what to do now...

Light clusters are ok, both airbags deployed - new bumper/bonnet needed for sure! Somthings rubbing from the right front arch liner aswell.

Help :(

It's not going to be a cheap fix if the airbags have been deployed.

Feel for you though. I have a feeling this wont be the last thread like this today.

Airbags off is usually a very expensive fix mate.

How much is your car worth? Looks like an insurance job to me..

Feel sorry for you mate, weathers horrible out there.
Refuse to go out in it.
Like said above, insurance job me thinks.

Sorry to hear this mate, Id love to go on a little drive, But after my dad almost crashing ive decided not. I want my car for summer lol !

Hopefully a cheap fix, But sadly dont rekon it will be with the airbags gone.

Im VERY suprised the airbags went off with such little damage to the front end.

When I crashed, my front end was ripped clean off including damage to the radiator... yet none of my airbags were deployed. Seems you've been very unlucky. Your seatbelt pre-tensioner has probably blown too which will need replacing.

As a rough idea... a new bonnet, bumper, light cluster, radiator, arch liner and wing cost £3500 using genuine renault parts for my 182. This included spraying all the listed parts.

With the airbags deployed and the relative low value of the car in todays climate, I suspect you car could be a CAT D write off.

If its the same as when I used to own a fiesta, Airbags normally means write off. Sorry :(

oh, as far as help is concerned... Ring the local cops and get an incident number. If the car's driveable then get it home and ring your insurance ASAP quoting the police incident number. If its not driveable, Insurance will arrange recovery.

You might need to reset the engine cut off switch (big red button under the bonnet) to get the thing going again, as it may have been triggered by the impact.

Insurance will arrange for the car to be assessed by your nearest insurance approved garage, who will then submit a quote to your insurance for approval. Its then their decision whether to write it off, or allow it to be repaired. Mine took 4 weeks from start to finish and was in a much worse state than yours, however as said my airbags didnt go off.

Drove it home, it was fine.

Just got off the phone to insurance people, £450 excess - don't lose any of the no claims on the policy as there protected.

Renault are coming to pick it up within the next 2 days.

Bridgewater Reno.

Cosmetically it looks ok, new bumper/bonnet - that looks about it?

2 big worries are the air bags and windscreen.

Is it a new dash on the clio's when the passenger Air bag goes like on the Audi's ?? Aswell as a new air bag......

it depends where you get the parts from, i know of some good renault salvage places. pre-tensioners, new seat belt, drivers side seat air bag and steering wheel air bag was like £150-200. plus you get a warrenty on the parts you buy. theres no point going fo the brand new stuff from renault cause they are pretty extautionate with there prices!only real problem, sounds like the front frame might be out of line cause of the rubbing. but im sure there are renault mechanics in the club that can help you out with fitting mate!

that link you posted tells the story, unless your car is brand new, second hand, salvage parts are alot better for money.

Gutted for you mate, you certainly arn't the only one to crash today, was expecting a few when i logged on today :(

There was 3 crashes in 5 minutes in a road near work.

Sounds like an insurance job, unfortunately because i'm presuming your quite a young driver so its not an ideal thing to do.
