Yep i always got told on my driving lessons to make an attempt to go round them, even if they were so badly placed that u couldnt really do it.

Also i was told about the signalling to go straight across, its not needed as there are too small, you end up trying to do too many things at once, thats when c**k ups are made

I agree with you there, but with Bruns case there is a difference, the round-a-bout has replaced the old junction, where traffic turning right had to give way, the round-a-bout is only there to cut congestion and apparently cut accidents. It doesnt nessasarily give the van driver right of way. With Bruns case he is clearly on the round-a-bout, so the van driver has no right to cut across it like he has.

Looking at Bruns diagram it looks like the van driver didnt do anything wrong to me, especially if he had his indicator on.

hey its a shame pal glad youre ok but lets be honest everyone, there is too much of this not bothering to give way on rounabouts it really annoys me at nearly every roundabout i use people will 9 times out 0f 10 just saunter out in front of me if you horn them they just give you the bird or laugh at you it is an ever increasing problem and im afraid if i was in a van then sometimes id feel like aiming it at them only way to take the grin from theyre faces ill bet you will now take more care at roundabouts now no offence just being honest here pal

lol, thanks for that, i do usually pay a lot of attention, all the time, im usually very good at predicting what drivers are going to do next (as best you can !)......and i didnt go through expecting to just sneak through, i fully expected him to use the roundabout
