cup drivers lock

Ive noticed that some 172 cups have a lock on the drivers door, yet some dont. Why is this?

dont know why, but the older cups have both locks, and 2003 onwards only have one on passenger side, its the same one other clios also

Anyone else had a problem with the lock going tarnished in appearance ?

I had to get the Autosol on mine the other day as it was getting quite manky.

Yeah, its happened on all my recent cars with RCL...

I have never once used the key on my CTR, Cup, 306 Rallye or 106 GTi!
