Just choose yourself, which ever one you buy someone will always say, "why dint you go for the other one" Whats the point?

There all nice, quick cars i went for the cup because its not as common and i like raw drivers cars?

looked and test driven both.
both were very nice and very quick.
went for the 172 ff in the end... simply because id be using it for work & pleasure and didnt intend to mod it.
personally i prefered the interia and rather have the extras over the small speed performance. its more than quick enough for me... coming from a 1.2 clio

full fat IMHO is the better car for this country

FF for me too. I knew about Cups when I bought but the lack of ABS on the Cup put me right off - Ive never had to use it on my fatty 172 but you never know when you might rely on it, IMO. Anyway, Im unlikely to ever track the car and I like my comforts too much - leather is nice, cruise surprisingly useful, and aircon great for demisting (its hardly ever warm enough to use it for cooling). Plus xenons just look cool

Someone mentioned that only Cups come in a unique colour. So do FF 172s - you wont find a non-172 clio in Flame Red, Monaco Blue, the silvery colour of the black either. Theyre unique to the 172. Although the wheels do look like a bigger version of Dynamic wheels...
