The cup racer does 0-60 in 6.0 but carries 196 bhp/tonne.It laps bedford autodrome in 1.24.95
The road cup laps the autodrome in 1.26.30 and carries 171 bhp/tonne so only a 1.5 sec difference on the racer
A road cup has 171bhp/tonne?

Well yours are driven by racer drivers whilst bedfords cars would of been driven by people who cant even drive a milkfloat so ill take wear/cold into consideration! But ive used better sequentials..i had to really thump the clios shifts. Still, they look ace!

The cars above at Bedford are actually limited to 6000rpm for longetivity purposes. The proper cup race cars top out at 8000rpm and would put a lot more than 1.5 seconds into std road going cup. (source evo magazine)Quote: Originally posted by RobFenn on 16 January 2004

I dont think their horsepower is amazing. Mostly down to the seq gearbox and other bits. I think 0-100 is about 11 secs?
