Cup seats vs standard seats?

Does anybody know how much lighter the cup seats are than the half leather? I want to buy a new interior but don't want to add loads of weight.

I don't think they'd be that much a few kg at max. Worth it for the comfort though imo.

I'd go for buckets myself but then not as practical...

as said, just the weight of the side airbags in the FF seats. Not much difference really.

Eh? Non airbag Cup seats and 182 seats are exactly the same except for the airbag and the cover material...which doesn't affect comfort.

Yeah they are basically the same apart from the lumber support. More a cost cutting measure than a weight one imo

I will be getting some buckets in the long run... Got a few things to do before I have money to spare for those though. Saying that, it depends on how much I can get some Bimarco buckets for. I'm in the process of fabricating some seat runners and subframes, want to get these done before I buy buckets so I can keep my back seats in use.
