is this definitely a Cup spoiler? its hard to tell:

Cup spoilers will go for around £80 to £100 secon hand. If your lucky enough to find one. Like hens teeth.

New ones were £160 with a brake light from Mike@Rentech, but I don't think he does them any more. I bought new, but only because I have a mate who sprays things for me for nothing.

been told a lad can get me one new for £150 notes, not painted. I dont know if i can justify that, going to be easily £200 + once sprayed

i bought one for £122 second hand, broke the brake light with it, payed about £33 for a new brake light, then £90 to spray it, £245!!! ouch.

i am tempted for £150 inc vat new from reno. i have sprayed things before, such as the bump strips and done a good job. do you think it would be something that you could spray yourself with enough cans from halfords?

Nah thats the standard 172/182 spoiler.

Same as the later Dynamique models too - it came colour coded on them.

I wouldn't have paid for a new one if I couldn't have got it sprayed as a favour. Very expensive for what it is.

How much is the brake light in addition to the spoiler?

Brand new spoilers including brakelights from renault are

The black clio accessory spoiler, with the smoked brake light is £99.81

The Renault sport one, comes unpainted is £150

The v6 one, unpainted as well is £252.50

Dont pay too much lol, i guess you could save money if it was already the same colour as your car, but a lot of them going on ebay are fetching above what they are new! and when you get them sprayed look for a place that mixes its own paint :d

What's the difference between the V6 spoiler and the Renault sport?

172 spoiler is flat all the way from left to right pretty much. Black brake light visible from back and top of spoiler.

Cup spoiler has a curvy lip in the middle of it raising the profile higher and brake light is set inside the spoiler fully.

v6 Spoiler has a straight lip to it all the way across.

I had a look, and I see what you mean. I just had seen V6 and cup spoilers listed on eBay as the same thing. Cup one looks much nicer IMO.

Yep, 172 one's a barely more than an extension of the roof, whereas the Cup has a raised lip and actually looks functional, liek the v6/trophy but they're straighter.
