Cup springs on 172 FF?

My mate has a set of 182 Cup springs in his garage off his old RB. Will they fit to a standard 172 and will they make any difference handling wise and height wise? Or should I just go all out and get some Sportlines?

Dunno why I put a FF! I meant a normal 172 as opposed to a Cup. Silly me!
