Cup Steering Wheel Badge Bodge!

Anyone tried bodging a renault sport badge on to a cup/dynamique steering wheel?

Coz i realized the other day that cups dont say Renault sport ANYWERE! lol.

Not on steering wheel, seats, door sills, instrument panel! lol

anyway answer to your question yes it has been done! its been one to a mk1 172 was just glued on and looked rather good imo

But the only proper cup is the 172. A weight saving of 80kgs. 182 cup saved 20kg........w**k. Was pure marketing shpeel.........

Is that proven? My mate had a 197 on demonstrator, i had a my standard 182, and they were side by side up to a ton. I'm also sure the R27 was faster than any MK2 around a track (i'll find which in a mo). Better looking meaning dated, yes? :rasp: I LOVED my 172 Cup BTW

other than it would be nice to have the RS badge on the steering wheel but dont wanna change it coz i prefer my wheel to the sport ones.
