Anyone who bought a new f/f over a CUP must be mad due to price depreciation.

You might as well throw 2k down the drain.

The re-sale values are the same.

On paper, apples for apples, the 172FF is the slowest mkII Renaultsport Clio. That'd be enough to make me go for the Cup ;)

I couldn't live without AC though, so a Cup would be off the shopping list.

And that was all the choice I had at the time!

If you want the car for fun trust me and buy the CUP.

If you want a bit more "luxury" buy the 172ff. Simple really.
 
Only messing dude, I would imagine the difference, bananas for bananas, would be maybe 4 lengths to the ton? Not enough to matter day to day, and there are probably some quick 172s and some slow 182s.

At least your 172 doesn't have the sunday market interior like my fake Cup :D

AOK Cup - that is a fantastically detailed technical appraisal of the Cup, you are in fact, my new hero - THE 172 CUP IS THE CAR TO HAVE, It's the most raw drivers car of the lot -AND the quickest, just be careful in the wet.

CUP = MAN'S CAR

lol @ another Cup vs Full Fat debate...we should have a permanent thread on this to save time and energy
