cups suspension?

hi people,

Just wondered if anybody could help, im getting an annoying noise when driving in my cup mainly over bumps or when cornering, seems to be coming from the back end of the car, i could only describe the noise as a squeaky noise, it seems to be getting worse. im thinking maybe its something to do with the suspension, im not very technical minded lol. got the car booked in to reno for mot saturday so maybe see if they can have a look at it.

just thought someone on here might know?

Leaky rear shock but then that tends to be more of a constant thudding after going over a bump. Are your rear shocks damp or wet?

ive not checked mate should i check that first?

Worth a look. They are notorious for having failing rear shocks bud.

Ype rear shocks can leak on the 172/182's

they may not do it on the warranty . as there ware at tare item's

If not under warranty then you can least give yourself a reason to get uprated suspension

There not fit for purpose if they fail so I'd go with that angle but they aren't directly covered under warently but under sale of good parts have to be fit for purpose which these shocks arn't.

by fit for purpose do you mean they should last longer? my cups only done 30k miles aswell.
