Cutting off standard exhaust - hacksaw?

Hi everyone, I need to replace my standard 182 exhaust because the back boxes are blowing, which I understand means cutting it off... Will a normal hacksaw do the job or will I need something more powerful?

Why do you need to cut it? It can be removed as one-piece

Though I suppose if it's blowing who gives a fk if it comes out in one piece!

Cutting it off? Undo the bolts first lol, you never know, it may come apart at the joins

I hear it needs to be cut to get it past the rear beam...

A lot easier to cut it than drop the rear beam and take the bumper off.

yeah, bit of a t**t to do on the floor, but entirely possible

I remove the rear shock bolts to get more space over the rear beam.

A hacksaw will do the job, a dremel or angle grinder would make it much easier but entirely possible with a little hacksaw

I've found going for a blast and a couple of harsh gear changes can get a standard back box thats on its way can get it off without any pesky work!

so does everyone else lol. Makes it reasonable easy. Bit heavy and awkward, but only takes a few minutes
