another thread on this.

is it easy to replace the cv boot (one near the wheel) on a mk2 ph2 1.4 16v?
if so how much is the part going to cost me.

Part will be under a tenner from a local factors. Fitment will be easier with the right tool>>

Not that hard to do really, invest in a Haynes possibly. Save yourself 30 quid or so by not taking to a garage..

Buy a new driveshaft its more reiliable and you'll be thnakful changing boots can be a right pain and take hours.

take the drive shaft out take it to garage ask them to do it cash in hand say £20 easy

its under warranty. the car has been lowered though... will it still be covered. or do you think i might be able to get them to pay some towards it. Its going in for loads of faults and a new clutch (also under warranty) on the 11th. for the trouble ive been having with the car it should only be fare that they contribute some?

put the old suspension back on
