CV knocking - replace CV joint or whole driveshaft?

Hey guys, my 172 ph1 is knocking when turning right and accelerating and I think its either the cv joint or driveshaft.

I'd like to know if its necessary to replace the whole driveshaft or just the cv joint? And what the part number is for either for a ph1 172 please?

I’m no expert here but, the default answer used to be ‘replace the shaft’. That said, I’m not sure how easy they are to source these days. There are some brands to avoid depending on who you speak to though. I’m sure someone with recent experience will chime in.
