get some roof bars and a couplle of cycle racks for the roof, you can fit 3 on easily on the roof with this method!

I initially tried lots of boot mounted ones, couldnt find any that didnt foul the roof spoiler, and the bikes kinda bounce about on those type of racks. I ended up with roof bars/cycle carriers which can take 2 bikes at 110 mph lol

  My trusty lil 182 :)
Yeah, agree with the above posts roof bars and thule carrier are brilliant.

If you really want a boot mounted setup the paddy hopkirk high rise carrier from argos works fine and doesn't foul on anything. Most annoying part of a boot rack though is not being able to get into the boot once its on. Roof rack is much more practical that way!

Thanks for all your replys lads. This might be a stupid question, but, lol, how can't you get into your boot with the paddy hopkirk high rise carrier? Is it just the weight of the bike or something else, thanks, Chris.

  Dodgy one
I bet the clio looks a bit daft from side on with a bike carrier on the roof, I tried to get one from the dealer the other day when buying my car. Couldnt get one :(

The only thing putting me off getting one is, If i snag the bike on a branch leaving a trail, or it topples over and damages the roof

Top 2 straps are attached to the boot, behind the spoiler, then 2 go under the bumper somewhere. I personally don't like the idea of hanging expensive bikes on the back.

I think i still prefer having them in the car, If someone arse ends you at least your car will stand a better chance of not being wrote off.

Im to tight to insure mine lol
