If i change my standard dampers to cup ones will it lower it a little more on the rear i have cooksport springs on at the moment thanks

No it won't.

Dampers make no difference to ride height, that's the springs.

I've heard it makes a difference in handling.

Your car?Because on 182non cup you can't change to cup dampers.

As above, different bolt spacing on the 182 cups from normal 182's.
