danlp6's Valver / 172...?

it's not so much the car, in the bloke (danlp6), he's to put it nicely, a tosser!. he's messed a lot of people on this site around, me included.

It's the car as well apparently guys - he sold it for a few grand, the buyer took it to a garage to get some things seen to and the garage bloke basically told him to not bother with it - he sold it on again for hundreds...

A member on here was offered it back when he wanted a 172 conversion, but luckily decided against it.

the guy is a grade A* tw@t, stole money from me, took a few threats to get it back.

and messed my friends about, with horrible snotty letters

8.9 sec quarter-mile!! WTF?

he says it's a 8.9 sec 1/8th mile

The power to weight ratio he gives (240bhp/tonne) means he thinks the car weighs 770 kgs!

Now, maybe he has stripped the interior, but how he lost 210 kilos is beyond me

Didn't want this to turn into a Dan slagging-off match tbh, that ship has sailed on more than one occasion this year.

Not too sure of the history mate, I would imagine just done on the cheap and corners cut.

There's no doubting the guy knows what he's doing and knows HOW to do a job well, but there's too many stories of poor quality work, inferior parts, 'laziness', etc. I'd guess he just didn't fix a lot of things that needed fixing prior to considering it finished...
