dash&dial lights being interitment

Car: Citroen Xsara HDI

Problem: Over the last week my centre console, dash, and dial lights inside the car have been tempermental coming on when i turn the head lights today. The other day they came on after about 30secs of driving with headlights on. Any ideas to what can be causing them to be intermitent?

does it still have the factory push on earths? If so cut them off and fit a ring terminal and use the bolt holding the connector block down as the earth point.

If they ain;t pulsing, they are on and off every 10 mins or off for days and the radio stops workign and so on, bad design.

They Don't Pulse. They Just Sometimes Dont Come On When I Switch Lights On. Once There On They Stay On In The End.
