Dash Glare!

Hi does anyone else find that they get a massive glare off the shiny plastic dash onto the windscreen?

my ph1 172 is pretty bad in the sun and was wondering if anyone has a solution or has re-trimmed the dash in a less shiny material (e.g. alacantra).

any help is appreciated

you can have the dash flocked, kind of like a felt finish and does work well, its what they do it motorsport and helps get rid of glare.

SFS Sulfok Flocking services, It was an ok job, its a bit thin in places and lumpy in others. Someone more fusst than me would of been very disapointed tbh. Think it got a bit damaged during delivery. Was cheep enuff tho, 85 quid including the steering coloumn shrouds.

the ktec work looks awesome...any ideas how much that would cost?

and where can you buy alacantra? im in bucks and theres nowhere round here that ive seen that will do this sort of work
