Dash/Radio/Heating Dial Lights Not Working!

Got in the car, turned it on and the auto lights came on, but the back dash lights for the dials didnt, then noticed the radio and heating was all dark.

Looked in the book and found a fuse had blown and it was a bulb with an arrow under it. Im thinking its left hand side lights as my front sidelight aint working, and also the rear light and the left aint working.

Any idea what could be causing this fault.

I tried putting a 15AMP fuse in just to test it, and it blew it instantly, put a 20AMP in to test and it blew that instantly.

The fuse its ment to have in is a 10AMP.

Anyone got any ideas what could be causing the problem ?

Id check wiring where it goes through the boot from car inside the rubber bit,as they can split in there and short,other place is check under bonnet by the headlight backing,but boot is more common i believe,hth
