Dash strip painting question.

Hello!

Im currently in the middle of re-painting my dash strips and I have got the airbag decal. I wanted to ask, is it a good idea to put it under the lacquer or on top? Im concerned that if I do it underneath and lacquer on top it will react to the sticker and go all patchy around it? Whats my best bet?

Spray shack always lacquer over the sticker I think, I've CF wrapped my dash strips but not lacquered over the airbag decal cause it changes how the CF shines

Is it 3m carbon fibre vinyl your using or real carbon your laying over?

Im not using any carbon?! I'm colour coding.

Should be fine to lacquer provided its top quality 2-PAC lacquer

Haha I was just saying it'll be fine to use lacquer on top, it wont react to the decal
