dashboard bulb colour conversion

i was under the impression that changing the colour was just a matter of taking it all appart and putting different colour bulbs in. however this video says about soldering etc ?

i take it theres no way of doing this without soldering etc then ? any help appreciated

I'm pretty certain you do have to solder the new LEDs on.

To change the clocks/buttons it is a bulb swap.

However the dials require you to unsolder the smds then re-solder new ones on

iv done mine clancy, the only bits you can do with bulbs are the clock and unless you have digital climate control, the heater controls. everything else is SMD (LED) and requires a fair bit of taking apart and soldering

alright cheers guys, need to find someone good at soldering then
