I was taking apart my dashboard and when I pulled of the bit of plastic where your headlight adjustment is I noticed the connector behind it and wondered what it was for. Today I was at a car salvagers yard and while looking around the Clio's noticed a couple had the same bit but with two switches and so disconnected the wiring and plugged it into my car.
And more importantly it works, I seem to remember reading they do this to save money on wiring looms but I really wish I had looked for one of these earlier.
It may just be a small thing but it is so much easier on the eyes with the dash lights dipped right down and at night driving on dark motorways on backroads with no street lighting you seem to be able to see a lot clearer without the glare from the dials.
Which Clio's came fitted with these out of interest if anybody knows?
