Dastek Unichip Testing Question...

Hi there,

Been trying to get a unichip installed for a while and they have now finished developing the one for the 182 and want my 182 to test it. If its not up to scratch... they will remove it with no charge.

I have said that i have no problem with that but just wondered if there are any dangers... as its never been tested on a 182 before. Will they push my car harder or anything?

Will prob be getting a inlet manifold match done as well which they will fit.

Funny how Dastek just went ahead and had a go at fitting their piggy back chip to my 172 over a year back, and failed i might add, but not before they wanted to skin me for 150 odd notes for the fixing of a problem to my car which i found out didnt even exist !!

Have they finally realised they dont know what the hell there doing and need a car as a guineapig ??

The head bummer at BB tuning told me not to get the Dastek Unichip as it was like a human organ transplant.Sooner or later the Clio ecu will reject it.
